Interactive Climate Data Exploration

Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Project Summary

240 students engaged with interactive climate data to explore different climate scenarios and develop a deeper understanding of climate science.

Detailed Story

One of the impacts that the climate initiative has had on Matthew’s students is having data that they truly can interact with. As he explains, “Some of the data that we find online might be outdated or may not always have the correct images that I would want for my students to see. This was a very concise data set.” The different modules allowed students to explore different climate scenarios, keeping students engaged throughout different processes and meeting students where they had their needs, creating an overall good experience for the students.
