Water pollution is a growing concern in Denver, affecting both the environment and public health. Abdul Rajabi and Tajoar Patoary, two students at Green Valley Ranch High School, have committed to researching the sources of water pollution and exploring methods to protect and conserve clean water. Inspired by their workshop with Denver Water, the students set out to: – Identify major pollutants affecting Denver’s water sources – Study current prevention and treatment methods – Propose innovative solutions to keep water sources clean By working with scientists and conservation experts, Abdul and Tajoar aim to develop actionable recommendations to reduce pollution and improve water sustainability. Their project will be presented in May 2025.
