TCI’s 5th annual educator retreat focuses on connecting experienced climate educators with pre-service teachers from Maine and New England. This immersive 3-day experience equips new and experienced educators with the skills to integrate climate awareness across all subjects.
Over the course of the retreat, teachers will build their climate knowledge, network with colleagues, have supported time to develop implementable projects/curriculum, be treated to delicious, farm fresh meals, and stay in The Ecology School’s dormitory.
The dorm and dining hall at The Ecology School have been built to the Living Building Challenge Standards, and provide the perfect opportunity to live what you learn on this climate resilient campus. Teachers will leave with a plan to put into action in your school with your students.
