Seed Bomb
TCI programs and resources help students frame the topic of global climate change through local impacts.
All communities struggle with the incursion of invasive plants and animals into the native ecosystem, and this topic can be a tangible way for students to explore the impact of humans and climate change on their local landscape.
This short seed bomb activity teaches students about invasive species, human and climate impact on local ecosystems, and some of the ways to prevent and mitigate invasive plant spread. Participants will leave with take-home seed bombs that they can give to friends and family as a community education tool.
