Reminder: Learning Lab is designed for high school students, but is adaptable for middle school & college students.
To receive the Learning Lab Stipend, please complete the following steps:
Please note that stipends are awarded at the end of the Learning Lab module experience in your classroom. If you no longer want the stipend, please access our modules through the downloadable file above!
- Fill out the information on the teacher contract located here. Please sign this contract and submit as soon as possible as that is what will guarantee your $500 stipend!
- In order to send the stipend, you will need to complete the Invoice and return your signed contract by August 25, 2023.
- Once you have completed the lab, please complete the Teacher Survey here. THANK YOU for taking 10-15 minutes to join hundreds of other educators who have filled out this feedback form. If TCI is going to do the best possible job of empowering millions of students (like yours!), we need to hear (and take action on!) the opinions of you and other Learning Labs educators. The more candid, constructive, and critical you are, the more helpful your responses will be. Your responses may be quoted in reports, but never in a way that allows you to be personally identified.

Have your students share their Story of Change: Students can submit a climate action story inspired by resources and programs offered by The Climate Initiative for a chance to win one of our first ever Changemaker Awards. Join us on mobilize: Mobilize is our online (and mobile) community for student ambassadors AND teachers! We hope that you will encourage your students to become a TCI Ambassador, where they can continue taking action on climate change, get ideas on new action projects, or see what others are doing in the climate space. When signed up, students and teacher from across the nation can interact and collaborate on climate action projects! You can sign up here.

Please feel free to register for any of these 45-minute sessions… they will likely take less time, but we want to leave time for questions if need be.
